Eric Metcalf serves as the Global Associate Director of NewThing and leads the Chicagoland Movement. He has extensive ministry experience, including planting a church in Chicago, providing leadership to Community Christian Church’s Small Group Ministry, launching NewThing’s original Leadership Residency Program, and leading NewThing Global.
Eric has been married for 24 years to his beautiful wife, Erin, and they have three incredible children: Joey, Lydia, and Max.
Jon Ferguson is co-founder of Community Christian Church, a church with 14 locations in the Chicagoland area, and the City Movements Catalyst for Exponential. He is the Chicago Network pastor at Community, overseeing COMMUNITY’S initiatives in Chicago, including three new locations in the last three years.
He also serves as teaching pastor and leads the team of staff champions for adult, student, children and creative arts ministries across all COMMUNITY locations. He is an adjunct professor at Wheaton College Graduate School, and he co-authored The Big Idea, Exponential, and Discover Your Mission Now! He lives in Lincoln Park on the north side of Chicago with his wife, Lisa, and their two children, Graham and Chloe.
Brian Hogan earned his Master’s in Intercultural Studies/Ministry from Hope International University (Fullerton, CA), specializing in World Christian Foundations. He is a sought-after speaker, trainer, and coach with extensive experience in global church planting. Brian serves full-time with Church Planting Coaches, a global ministry of Youth With A Mission (YWAM), and is a member of YWAM’s Frontier Mission Leadership Team. His ministry spans five continents, with a special focus on advancing church movements where the church is not yet established.
Brian has participated in, led, and started organic expressions of Jesus’ Body in the USA, Malta, and Mongolia, both inside and outside traditional church structures. He coaches leaders involved in these movements on five continents, especially in areas where the church does not yet exist.
Beyond ministry, Brian enjoys connecting with people, reading, traveling, and exploring new experiences. He and his wife, Louise, have four children—Melody, Molly, Alice, and Peter Magnus—and make their home in the northwest Arkansas Ozarks.

At Vision Conference, we want to remove any barriers that might prevent someone from attending. Although investing in your faith is always worth it, we understand that finances can sometimes be one of those barriers. That’s why, for 2025, our tickets are only $20.00 for the 3-day event, to make Vision Conference even more accessible.

Complimentary coffee will be available throughout the event. However, lunch and dinner are not included. Guests are welcome to purchase meals at nearby restaurants.
If you can only attend a portion of the conference you will still need to get a regular ticket.
We unfortunately do not have any childcare on site, and children will not be allowed in main plenary sessions. We request that parents make their own childcare arrangements.
